what we do

The goal of our center is to have a place where philanthropist, advocates, organizations and family and friends of patients with a Neurological illness could donate monetary funds which can support Investigator initiated clinical trials. By having funds, we could optimize proper treatments in order to improve outcomes for patients with neurological diseases.

Myositis Treatment

While there is no cure for myositis, for some patients, treatments can effectively control and improve symptoms. Commonly used treatments include Corticosteroids (Prednisone), Immunosuppressants (Methotrexate, Azathioprine, Cyclophosphamide, Cyclosporine), IVIG (Intravenous immune globulin), and Biologic Agents (Rituximab, Enbrel, Humira, Remicade). There is no known treatment for Inclusion Body Myositis.
